Lowering stress and fatigue

“When you live in a messy home, you are subconsciously reminded of work that needs to be finished and visually, your eyes do not have a place to rest,” Too much clutter can cause tremendous stress and fatigue. When things take longer to find, or can’t be found, stress levels rise, and so does your risk for illness.

It’s not good for humans of any age to live in filth,  Children are also susceptible to bacteria, molds, and mildews which can affect their health. Keeping your house clean and sanitized will keep your children and your whole family healthier.

It Makes me Happy

Clean and organized space makes me feel happy, but more importantly, it eliminates the stress that’s caused by a chaotic environment.

There’s nothing wrong with finding happiness in the simplest things and clean and organized does it for me.When I come home and close the door, entering a clean and organized home provides a level of sanity and peace in an otherwise stressed out world.

Save Money

Taking care of what you own helps to ensure a longer shelf life for your possessions.

When you take care of things, they typically last longer.  When I sold my home last year, because I had properly maintained my property, the assessor thought my updates were far more recent than they were by more than ten years.

Creativity thrives in an organized environment

When my space is organized, it opens up my creative process. I think it’s because I’m not worried or stressed out about things being out-of-place or messy.

It allows me to focus my time and attention on the creative process that goes into making projects success  If I were filled with worry or angst, my creative juices would be blocked.

Keeping Pests Away

Bugs and rodents can multiply and easily hide in messy homes. They are attracted to liquid spills, food debris and dirty pet bowls. Their presence is trouble, as they spread disease, bacteria, germs and allergies.

“Cockroaches are not just annoying, but can spread dangerous germs to humans,”  (They are a well-established cause of asthma, carry numerous bacteria and parasites and they spread germs that can cause gastroenteritis.

Mice can also be a problem for many homes. They can spread diseases to humans, including Lymphocytic Choreomeningitis, Salmonella and Hantavirus,It’s very important for the health of the entire family to prevent pest infestations.

Regular cleaning, including putting all food away in air-tight containers after each meal, and daily trash removal help to keep pests away and uncover them before they become a serious issue.
